About Doug & Geoff

Doug grew up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts and recalls that the first hotdog he ever enjoyed was a Maple Leaf; thus began a lifelong sojourn of finding the best hotdog in the world.

This journey has taken Doug across the United States and far beyond; tasting hotdogs in Germany, Austria, Norway, Iceland, Finland, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, and Mexico. 

Geoff grew up just outside of Framingham, Massachusetts and was a notoriously picky eater as a child, but his first memory of having an iconic hot dog was at Flo’s in Cape Neddick, Maine on a family vacation.

It wasn’t until Geoff graduated college that he first had a Coney Island style hotdog at George’s Coney Island in Worcester, and from that moment on, it was love at first bite.

Since 2017, the father-son duo of Doug and Geoff have completed four hotdog road trips from Maine to New Jersey, Minnesota to Massachusetts, a Wiener Trip to Rhode Island and a Coney Island crawl in Fall River Massachusetts. In total, Doug and Geoff have visited over 70 hotdog stands in 15 states.
